This lovely hotel is located in Center City's so- called French Quarter and is one of seven North American branches of the Sofitel chain. The amenity-laden rooms all have phones with two lines and modem jacks. Onsite, you'll find a brasserie, a bar, a gift shop, a fitness center and eight meeting rooms. Sofitel Philadelphia is close to the local attractions. One block away is Rittenhouse Square, Center City's popular charming park. Restaurants and cafes surround the Square, so you can shop at Bebe or Ann Taylor and then stop by for some gourmet cheese and Italian bread at DiBruno Brothers. Sofitel is close to the train station and is a cab ride away from the Philadelphia International Airport. Shuttle service is available between the hotel and the airport. Sofitel permits small pets, but call ahead to make sure your animal friend will be accepted.--Tatyana Sinioukov
