Summit Inn Hotel   

Given the dearth of accommodations in this area, this is a good deal. Rooms are clean and comfortable if not the newest decor. Staff is friendly. The guests vary from seedy to respectable, but lots of visiting families stay there. It's isolated adjacent to a golf course and across the street from a commuter station and on bus line to major transit junction. I've stayed there alone as a single woman and felt safe.
