Formerly the Ritz-Carlton, then briefly the St. Regis, this elegant hotel is now The Westin. Other than changing the awning and the towels, the hotel is still the same knockout, luxurious place it has always been. From the gallant valets and doormen to the concierge and attendants, this is a place where guests are catered to and coddled. Provided you can afford it, it's not a bad place to find yourself at all. -- Elva Ramirez
