Callahan's Grille   

Unapologetically Irish, Callahan's is a throwback to a time when the area around it was too. The area around it may have changed, but Callahan's is almost exactly the same as it's been for years, right down to the four-leaf clover on its sign in front. A cozy bar with friendly bartenders and a die-hard crowd of regulars and Penn students who live just across the bridge, Callahan's also has a downstairs party space that can accommodate a larger group. But upstairs is where most of the action is. Whether it's Quizo, karaoke, live Irish music, or watching the Eagles game, the Callahan's crowd knows how to party -- preferably with a pint of Guinness in hand. There's also a standard bar menu of burgers, salads and appetizers, but the real action, of course, is at the bar.
