Ishkabibble's Eatery   

Long a favorite of both TLA patrons and bands (you can often find band members scarfing down a cheesesteak right before a show), Ishkabibble's is a South Street institution. Especially during the summer, it's hard not to notice the long line snaking down the street, ending right in front of Ishkabibble's tiny takeout storefront. The crowds are there for -- what else? -- all those Ishkabibble staples: cheesesteaks and chicken steaks, fries (of both the cheese and regular varities), water ice, and milkshakes. There are also fresh-baked cookies from nearby 4th Street Deli. Since there's nowhere to sit here, just stand around with the rest of the South Street crowd and dig in. You won't regret it.
