The chic upstairs neighbor to the Martini Ranch, the Shaker Room is something of a cultured cousin in dress and attitude. While live music rocks and frosty drafts flow below at the Ranch, the DJ heats up the music scene and martini glasses clink in the Shaker Room. Enhanced by a pulsating light show, the central dance floor is the place to be. All around it are spacious leather-upholstered booths draped in black curtains and kitschy tiger-striped sofas. This isn't a laid-back crowd. Leave your jeans at home and layer on the black and the bling to make it to the front of the line that forms nightly on the staircase outside. There's pool, too, for the dance-challenged.

Shake while you Stir
By aylanal on 02/29/2000
I myself enjoy this nite club because of its variety in entertainment. From 80's retro bands to 90's coverbands..blues and jazz..Its a place where you can go jeans and a t-shirt or you can dress to kill..Martini Ranch with its 3 full bars..offers a wide selection of beer and liquors..Unfortunately, it lacks in the food department..but there are plenty of all night restaurants in the area for those starving over heated dancers..Entertainment is its main function. Martini caters to the younger crowds..ages 21-35..mostly young professionals, and people looking for a great night out. I mostly look for two things in a bar.. One..attraction..The bar must be hopping enough to make me want to stay..and two..I have to be comfortable there..I try to avoid bars that are made up by the different social classes..places where you walk in and feel under or over dressed..I like bars and nite clubs that go both ways..

Overrated.

This part of the bar is way too small with furniture cluttering up most places. You have to wait in line again here as well. Incredibly small dancefloor. Don't know what the hype is about this place. The only cool thing about it is my sister met her now husband here, so I have a cool brother in law :)

THE DJ
By robolbz1234 on 09/07/2006
DJ Alan on friday nights is not good at all. He plays snips of songs and they don't even mix right. You start too dance and get into a grove then he changes it up to a total different beat. I have alot of friends that will not go there because of him. I have even talk to people as they leave and I ask way are you leaving they the DJ up stairs in the Shaker Room sucks. DJ Alan should find a different job I am very surprized he even has a job. Chris Osborn needs too get a better DJ for friday nights
