Baja Tilly's   

A "marlin shot" entails hanging upside-down from the ceiling, downing a kamikaze shooter, spinning around upended and then trying to stand as your picture is taken next to a cartoon fish. These interactive shots are available during a loco Friday happy hour at Baja Tilly's, which transforms from a quiet weekday addition to Manuel's Mexican Restaurant to a busy and cozy Latin fun bar on the weekends. Designed to resemble a Mexican party bar, the bright colors and campy touches (there's a car bumper footrest attached to the bottom portion of the tin-paneled bar) are home to various styles of Latin music. Oldies, salsa, hip-hop and some cumbias are provided by live bands and DJs. On Fridays the relatively tight place gets packed, while an older populace shows up on Saturdays. It's one of the most popular local Latino bars.
