Open since October 1999, The Legacy Golf Resort is 18 holes of rolling fairways, elevated greens and minimal water hazards -- just three holes worth. In addition to lush green fairways, the roughs are said to be very forgiving. You may not find #14 so forgiving though. It's a 565-yard par- 5 playing to an elevated green protected by 10,000 square feet of bunker. Ouch. Better spend some time at the complete practice facility here to bone up for that one. In addition to the par- 71 course, you will find a practice green, driving range, pro shop, clubhouse and a professional staff of four. -- Sheila Roe
