Brightly-lit, clean and often busy, Roscoe's on 7th stands out as Phoenix's only gay sports bar. A meat market it is not; instead, Roscoe's is a place where you can watch the game (there's even a TV in the bathroom) with people you can relate to. The sports pub borrows a couple of slogans, including Jim Rome's "drag is not a sport," but its signature Barney Surfing on Acid drink is all original. The sweet and smooth shot is named after the children's dinosaur and reflects the bar's sweet purple charm, as do the smiling employees in purple pinstripes. Roscoe's is one of the friendliest gay bars in the area.

What a Dump!
If you have nothing better to do and are desperate to go out, you may want to consider this place Tuesday night, as the drinks are 2-4-1 and can get busy. Other than Tuesday, forget it. The place is very small and hard to move around. The bartenders and cocktail servers are very rude here and got my car broken into. And watch out for the police when you leave. They wait across the street and are constantly driving up and down 7th Street looking for drivers over the legal limit.
If you love attitude you'll have a great time!
Yawn. If you like a bar with a bunch of attitude queens standing around and shoveling out the stuff, you'll love it here! The bartenders are frequently surly and pour a lousy drink, too. The clientele -- altho' attractive -- keep their noses up extra high in the air here. Put on your favorite Abercrombie & Fitch or Hurley shirts for extra 'tude. Lotsa luck!
A Great Bar & Grill
Roscoes has a great mix of people. The staff is friendly and provides great service. I go there often.
The crystal Queen who wrote the review accusing the bar of drug dealing was probubly the same addict I seen thrown out for using in the restroom.
Roscoes is a classy bar. If you are looking for Hot Guys, this is the place. May I also mention the great prices and food.
