Rate and Write a Review This may be the biggest of the shock-rock star's many hits. In the shadow of Bank One Ballpark, Alice Cooper'stown is one of the all-time great names. The food gets as much attention as sports and the glittery entertainment. The complex includes a main dining area, indoor and outdoor bars, a mezzanine, two outdoor patios and a spacious courtyard for dining and drinking. Plus, a state-of-the-art video and sound system including a monster video wall, large outdoor scoreboard with a big-screen TV and a stage for live music. Alice and his crew scoured the country to dig up great American menu classics, and they scored big-time. Cooper'stown is perfect for eating before and after games at the ballpark and next-door America West Arena. A testament to the quality of food occurs at lunchtime, when the place is crowded with suited business people from downtown office buildings. The reasonable prices are a big attraction, too. Alice's monster menu features almost every appetizer, sandwich, pasta, meat entree and dessert you can imagine. But the emphasis is on burgers, barbecue and down-home favorites like meatloaf. The eight burgers range from the classic Ryne Sandburger (about $8, including two sides) to the gargantuan, one-pound Mark Grace (about $11). Barbecue selections include deliciously gooey sandwiches (about $8 with two sides), pork chops, chicken and ribs.
