For a smaller space, Arrivederci is able to fill senses with good food and an air of casual elegance. Start with beef carpaccio with artichoke and move on to rolled rondelle pasta in a decadent four-cheese sauce that's baked with spinach. The pink vodka sauce with rigatoni is simply scrumptious. For non-pasta options, Arrivederci serves pan-fried salmon in a white wine and saffron reduction. For a true splurge try the tender osso bucco braised in vegetable sauce and served over risotto. The restaurant features a selection of Italian and California wines, which while not extensive, covers a respectable spectrum of tastes and price levels. And wine by the glass is affordable at under $7 a glass.
