Formal, refined dining takes Mediterranean form at Scottsdale's Barcelona, the second incarnation of a trendy Chandler nightspot. Guests are greeted by valet parking attendants and enter an oasis where ceiling-to-floor drapes, oversized mirrors and well-spaced tables invite intimate dining for 350 of Scottsdale's fashionable elite. Thick with pretense, drama and unrelenting attention to detail, the ambiance is complemented nightly by live music and dancing. Happy hour mustn't be missed, with an impressive wine list with 200 labels and an outdoor bar with comfortable tables, fiery torches and desert landscaping. Barcelona's interior bar is equally impressive, with large armchairs and sofas, vodka on tap and a unique frosted top bar, where guests can enjoy their drinks leisurely as they chill. Dining selections range from several paella dishes to rack of lamb and Pizza Tres Quesos, as well as a children's menu. Are you kidding me?

Dangerous nightspot??? This place has more security than the white house. They have Sheriffs at the front door that kick you out if your wearing the wrong shoes. I've always had a great time there, love the band and the food and have met a lot of awesome people. Previous blogger sounds like he's been thrown out of there before. Just sayin'... Barcelona Rocks, I love you guys!

Dangerous Nightspot

The food quality is above average, the wine list is extensive and the atmosphere s seductive. However direct evidence shows that this trendy nightspot has a very seedy side. From questionable business practices and dealings, to an active drug culture to staff that use excessive force, you roll the dice on your saftey while at this venue. Congrats to those who have survived this venue.

Ghetto Crowd, No thanks!

Went to this club with some friends, never going back. Crowd was much more ghetto than last time I went (last year), there were several fights, just horrible. Service Ok, I agree with the other review, band is definitely lipsynching. Not going back...

Scottsdale nightlife

Wonderful looking nightclub and restaurant.Reminds me of the Cuban nightclubs in Miami.Great music with a nice dance floor.It's nice to find a nightclub without loud blasting rock music.It's perfect for a romantic dinner.Upscale middle age crowd.Dress to impress.Crowded on weekends.
