In an old house among the gardens of the Olde Town Market Square near downtown Chandler, this quaint little shop tries to seduce you with outstanding soups and salads and tasty, budget-friendly sandwiches. They include cheese steak, burgers, pastrami and marinated chicken. The menu also features a quiche of the day and a grilled veggie sandwich. The namesake Better Than Sex cake is a rich, moist chocolate topped with caramel and Heath bar crunch. If you're feeling really naughty, they'll top it with whipped cream.

WARNING! - Do NOT Go TO Better Than Sex Cake Cafe!
Consider yourself warned! If you live in Arizona and are considering Better Than Sex Cafe for their catering or Cake/Bakery Services, LOOK ELSWHERE! They will leave you high and dry. My wife and I used Cathy's Rum Cake in Chandler, AZ for our wedding cake and reception dinner and have always used them for our birthday cakes as well. This year, my wife had seen an advertisement from Better Than Sex marketing their cakes, so she asked for her birthday cake from there. I ordered it July 10th around lunch time for pick up in the afternoon on July 11th and was told they would bake it in the morning and have it ready by lunch time the next day but I could pick it up as late as 5PM, which is when they close. I arrived between 3-3:15 PM and the doors were locked with the lights off. There was no phone call or message waiting for me when I got home....and I still have no birthday cake for my wife, who is due home at 5:30PM. I called and left a message on Better Than Sex's answering machine and then quickly looked up Cathy's Rum Cakes number online and gave them a call. Fortunately Cathy's had a Chocolate/Chocolate Rum w/Whipped Cream frosting (the top layer of our wedding cake) ready for sale in their restaurant's fridge. I paid a little more, but it's worth it because their cakes are of higher quality and frankily...they saved my butt on this one. Again, be forewarned...do NOT trust Better Than Sex Cake with your business.
