Hidden away in Old Town Scottsdale, B.S.West is a great rendezvous spot. but dont be surprised if you cant find it. It's hidden on 5th Avenue, tucked behind the galleries and salons. Open at 2PM, B.S. West is the perfect place to get away from humdrum, hoity toity places in Old Town, even if you're not amongst the alternative crowd. This club and bar welcomes everyone, announced quickly by the unisex bathroom equipped with televisions in the stalls. There is a great dance floor and a small VIP lounge for conversations. Famous for the Appletini and Cosmo, any one of their specialty drinks will do fine. The staff is very friendly and the dcor is to die for.

Great on Wednesday Nights
I've always liked going to BS West on Wednesday nights. There's usually a good crowd and I sometimes see people I haven't seen in years. Lots of college age guys and quite a few nice looking people, as well. Did I mention Wednesday is 2 for 1 night? The bar used to be very cramped with a very tiny dancefloor. The bar layout has since changed and has a decent size dancefloor and smarter restroom design for the women's restrooms.
I used to also hear that the bar was dead the rest of the week however, I stopped in last Saturday and saw a pretty decent crowd. One other thing to note, BS West is the only gay bar in Scottsdale, but quite a few other bars do have a gay following.
