From the politically-incorrect name, you can gather that this longtime favorite fast food joint serves both Asian and Mexican grub. A stone statue of their mascot, a giant panda in poncho and sombrero, welcomes guests into a large, sparsely decorated dining hall. Asian selections include rice bowls topped with jade red chicken and barbecue pork. Or go Latin with a spicy treat like the fabulous pollo diablo, artfully seasoned with crushed red pepper and a hot sauce that'll make your eyes well up.

Our Favorite!
A friend from Honeywell introduced us to Chino's (19th Ave & Greenway) when we first moved to Phoenix, 15 yrs ago. Now we go every Fri evening. It's the best way to start a weekend off right. We have relatives who put Chino's on their "must do" list when they come to visit. My biggest fear is that it becomes too popular and we won't be able to get our regular table!
innovative menu and great foor
we lived within blocks of chino-bandito for many years and made a point to eat there at least once a week. we loved the crazy mix of latin and oriental. i still miss the food, and now that we've moved away whenever it's possible we stop for for a "chino fix." it is the best!

You eat there once and you will certainly return! Great food, more than just friendly staff.
