It's e4, a $3.5 million goliath that holds more than 600 people and often turns away hundreds more. Almost four years in the making, it features a sleek chrome and dark wood interior with enough incredible, far-out gimmicks to make it a Dr. Seussian wonderland for swinging, affluent 25-to-40 year-olds who want to dance and be seen. In one room, illuminated blue waves swirl under a transparent floor. Water also streams through grass under resin bar tops. As the name implies, e4 is themed around the four elements -- earth, air, water and fire. You can start with happy hour on the Air patio, then move to the Earth Lounge for dinner. The menu is focused on 12 affordably-priced, scrumptious small plates, including skewered wild salmon poached in white wine, huge scallops with spinach and prosciutto; and mini-croissants filled with lobster and fresh mozzarella. Depending on the day, the red-lit Fire Room dungeon or waterfall-walled Liquid Room opens around 9 (cover charge may take effect). The entire club swings from 10PM until 2AM.
