Nestled high on the side of Camelback Mountain, Sanctuary is a sexy, stylish mainstay of 'resort row' in this exclusive Paradise Valley neighborhood. Not to be outdone by the larger resorts, Sanctuary introduced a super- modern bar and grill to attract a young, happening crowd of vacationers, business folk and locals. Elements capitalizes on the main attraction of this mountainside location -- its incredible views. Thanks to three walls of glass, you'll be looking down on some of the wealthiest homes in town. The restaurant also features some distinctive extra touches, like fountains which release both water and flames. In fact, 'water' is the element most alluded to in the menu which includes a fair amount of seafood, from starters like tartare of tuna and steamed mussels to grilled salmon and Maine lobster entrees. The selection of dishes also includes filet of beef, pork, chicken and the mysterious 'feature of the day.' Desserts rotate on a monthly basis, but like the liquid-center chocolate torte with buttermilk ice cream, they all sound like an experiment in decadence.
