Thanks to its emphasis on family-friendly fare and a fun happy hour scene for the working crowd, this chain restaurant has been popping up all over the southwest. The restaurant features tasty Mexican favorites like sizzling fajitas, chile con queso, taco combination platters and tamales, all at affordable prices. In fact, the concept has been so successful that the Garduno's name is now proudly displayed on their private-label salsas, tequila and honeys. The newest location in Scottsdale is a great place to take kids when you're tired of the loud, tasteless theme restaurants. Although Garduno's is casual and festive, it's known for good quality food that doesn't excite the critics, but wins plenty of People's Choice Awards back in its home state.
