Native New Yorkers claim it's the best fake in town. Fake, that is, in the sense that Joe's New York Pizza isn't really made in New York, but just looks and tastes like it is. It should, because owners Larry and Warren Skylar ran a pizza parlor in Gotham before moving here and opening Joe's in early 2004. The essentials that make it authentic are intangible: the just-right thin crust and texture, perfect amount of sauce, quality cheese and simple toppings. The homemade meatball, sausage and ricotta toppings are outstanding. They sell pizzas by the slice or 18-inch pie. Calzones are also just-right, along with dinner plates of baked ziti and eggplant parmigiana. The place is a busy late-night hangout, open until 3AM Wednesday through Saturday.

This is my favorite NY Pizza in Scottsdale. Offer only true NY items and the only place I could find a Chicken Roll.

MOST DELICIOUS PIZZA

As a transplanted New Yorker, I have searched for real, authentic NY pizza and this is it. It's the most delicious pizza I've ever eaten. The crust is thin and the pizza melts in your mouth. It's no wonder there are lines out the door ....these guys really know how to make a real New York Pizza.

It's a Real East Coast Pizza!

My husband and I have spent 2 years searching the Phoenix area for pizza that is just like the pizza we used to eat in the Philadelphia, New York City areas and we finally found it. There was a newspaper review describing how wonderful this pizza is and we were skeptical, but it was exactly as the article described it.
