LGO isn't your typical pizza joint. If you need evidence, ceviche and sangria aren't on the menu at most post-little-league-game huts. A modern, yet comfortable decor invites with rich colors and a communal table in the middle of the room for those in a hurry or who just like to make friends. If you're from Arizona's neighbor to the east, you'll love the Santa Fe burger covered in roasted green chilies. But, of course, this is a pizza place above all, and the pies are worth the praise the place has garnered. Vegetarian options include one topped with roasted corn, goat cheese, roasted tomatoes and basil and the Mushroom Party, buried under three types of mushrooms. The Padre is a savory option, topped with prosciutto, arugula and Point Reyes blue cheese. Of course, there's plenty of good, old-fashioned pepperoni and red sauce to go around if you're a fan of the classics. And if you needed one more reason to love the place, they don't allow cell phone use inside.

Best pizza in Phoenix
By BastCorpComm on 06/27/2008
This blows away Pizzeria Bianco. The pizzas run about $12 and are cooked to perfection, with just the right seasoning and flavor. While I haven't tried the famous egg on the pizza, I'm told it's awesome. other things on the menu are pretty good; the desserts I've tried are fabulous; there's an adjoining gelato shop which serves exquisite gelato. But back to the pizza: it's incredible. And you usually don't have to wait that long for a table, unlike other famous local pizzerias.

To The Owner of this place, you sir/ madam are cheap, cheap and cheap.. to charge $14 dollars for a pizza and train the pizza mess cook on how not to put any toppings on, cheap. is cheap .we ordered a sausage-pepperoni pizza on sat 5-31-08 appx 3pm. when my wife brought it back to the table it had and i counted (5) very small pieces of sausage and (8) pieces of pepporni! when i asked the person taking the pizza from the oven why so little, he just walked away from me, no answer. so mr or mrs owner you are cheap, cheap and even cheaper now that i think about this garbage pizza.
