best mexican ever
this place had great food and a wonderful0 atomsphere
With the wait and the money
NOw, I am not going to argue with anyone that the service at Los Dos isn't exactly good. It really is slow and on a weekend night, forget it. However it is worth the wait and frustration of trying to get your food because it is without a doubt the best Mexican food I have ever eaten in my entire life. I have eaten Mexican food every where and even overseas and in Mexico and the food at Los Dos is better. I went overseas with a group of people to study and the professor (who was Mexican and used to live in the PHX valley) raved about Los Dos and how it was always the first place he went when he got back to Phoenix and how he had never had better food. Heres a hint tho..for better service go to the one on Broadway and Alma School in Mesa..smaller but service is better. Man..now I am hungry..see you all at Los Dos!
Horrible food/Horrible service
No offense but do you have to be white to like this place? It's like a cospiracy I feel like this place has everyone brain-washed. I had heard about this place for so long, but I'm glad I didn't go on a busy night because I would have killed myself if I would have waited for 2 hours to try this awful food. Being Mexican I can say that this is probably the worst Mexican food I've ever tasted... My burrito was dry and my meat was horrible. It was like someone just warmed up a tortilla and stuffed it with old meat. This restaurant is dirty, the plates and utensils look like they haven't been washed. The chips are stale and the rice is out of a box. It irrates me that such a horrible Mexican restaurant makes so much money that it doesn't deserve. This place was so bad that I wanted to come home and throw up my food and go out to dinner again...
Los Dos is the Spice of Life!
Okay, so it's not the best Mexican food around, but is it possible that I'm the first to mention their FABULOUS margaritas? Served by the pitcher and WORTH the trip. Not to mention the small-town indoor atmosphere with the "partio" outside? First timers go during the week when it's not busy. Get a recommendation for a good dish and have a great time! Heed warnings about the spicy dishes. They are wonderful, but pack quite a bit of heat!
