At first glance, this dilapidated red barn looks more like a country-western dive than a raging weekend hotspot for the valley's alternative crowd. Past the whitewashed wagon wheels and rotting wood panels lies an impressive space, boasting four separate bars, sand volleyball courts and an outdoor sound stage. Step inside and you find a dark, dusty, but oddly fascinating collection of creepy taxidermy, Paramount props and antiques crowding every nook and cranny. Playboy centerfolds and autographed pictures of classic film stars provide an alluring backdrop for live rock bands and DJ-spun tunes. On Sundays, girls in Daisy Dukes pounding cheap beer give way to tattooed bikers. Ska bands blare through mighty subwoofers, enticing passers-by to stop in for a quick drink. Thong Thursdays bring college students with raging hormones out in droves; the girl with the winning behind takes home a booty of $150.
