In ShortOregano's remains one of the hottest spots in town with constant crowds packing in around small tables for plenty of pastas and sandwiches, which are offered in addition to the pizza that comes in the stuffed or thin-crust variety. Save room for the pizzookie, a small pizza-size, gooey cookie served with vanilla ice cream.

Don't go for the Pizza
By mrmdel1 on 03/03/2007
If you're looking for a good pizza, don't waste your time at Oregano's. Most other entree dishes, however, are well worth the wait (which can be quite long most evenings). This is a fun place to hang out at the bar for some light fare. ENJOY

RATS!
By gktra on 06/19/2005
While dining in the courtyard we saw a rat running around. within 3 feet of our table. We alerted our waitress who was apologetic and informed the manager on duty. We were never approached by the manager to perhaps change our seat or apologise or offer an explanation. After the second sighting of the critter we asked to be moved. We were accomodated but still no offer of an apology. We then cornered the manager stated that "we live in the desert, there are all kinds of critters". Yeah, well this is Shea Boulevard and this is a dining establishment....UGH! Who knows where the rat feces may lurk!
