Not worth the money

I went there for a friends Birthday party and was very disappointed. I know that I shouldn't nitpick so much but the food came slow and while it was hot but for appitizers entrees and desserts took over three and a half hours.. it was nothing spectacular. I had Ruths over a decade ago and it was much better. I would not describe the service as bad but lacked refinement representing a nice restaurant such as pulling your plates from the left, making you duck someones arm, also, Other than taking orders you shouldn't have to be interrupted with your conversation. The ribeye was tasteless. Which is really hard for to do. I think the money would be better spent elsewhere.

Its good, but being that expensive doesn't make it excellent. Monti's all the way!!

Used to be a nice place

I do not see how they got a top rating, they used to have a dress code so you dined with others dressed for a nice elegent meal, not no more! They have no dress code and as far as I am concerned no morals!

Disappointing
By mtheodosis on 02/20/2007
When looking to have a special night out I have always trusted Ruth's Chris around the country. I have only had one bad experience at a Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and this one was it. Showing up with reservations we were told it would be ten minutes till seated. We decided to have a drink at the bar while waiting. There was no room for us to sit and and because there is not adequate space we were like cattle in a pen. It was 15 minutes before we could get the attention of the bartender to place a drink order . After 30 minutes we were finally seated. They took our orders, brought our food and basically ignored us. One of the orders was overcooked and another undercooked. For the price, the service was pathetic. Denny's provides better service than this place. The Scottsdale restaurant is excellent and I will return there for future meals.
