I agree w/ the comments below BUT if you are reviewing an establishment insteading of saying to NOT go there when a certain person is working, you should go to management or the owner and express your concerns. Otherwise, you are hurting that establishment. I have been going to Peanutz on and off for MANY years and I 100% agree w/ the comments below. The good and the bad of it. It's a shame but let's try and support our local bars and pubs. Let the proper people know the problems we have as patron's with the ways we are treated and talked to by a "certain" member of their staff. I don't think the level of service is bad I just think the attitude of the person referred to below is just effecting the atmosphere of the business in a negative way.

Peanutz is a bar located in the historical Northside's East Ohio Street. Usually, the atmosphere is great if you go on a night when you get a good bartender. All of the bartenders are great except for this one skinny black short hair woman that is usally seemed to be bothered by you asking for anything, and spends more time smoking at the end of the bar rather than waiting on customers... The other bartenders are great... they are attentive and work really hard to make you feel like an important customer. The food is amazing if you are looking for tradition tavern food. Prices are great for the portions that you get!!! They also have great drinks, and a ton of beers on tap. Seems like with a little better management, Peanutz would be an A-1 nightlife attraction, especially on the nights that they have a DJ. It really ads to the enjoyment of what is usually an overall great dining and drinking experience.

This place has the best chicken wings in the city of Pittsburgh. Great atmosphere except do not go on a night when the tall dark haired lady is working!!!! She's a bartender there and is constantly rude and complaining. Other than that, Nick (the owner) is great and so is the rest of the staff there. The food is priced reasonably and it's pretty easy to find parking.
