Rate and Write a Review Sure, you'll find 24 beers on tap, including Big Hop from East End Brewing and Great Lakes' Burning River Pale Ale, but don't you just have to try a "Yinzer bomb" -- a concoction comprised of Mountain Dew and Jaegermeister? Even with these choices, a lot of people come in just to eat, believe it or not, especially at lunch hour. Lip-smacking BBQ ribs and chicken are favorites on the menu, with grilled kielbasa and sauerkraut, Reuben sandwiches and a giant fish sandwich also featured. Meanwhile, rock and blues musicians are showcased in the back room over the weekends. The small room seats about 50, with tables close together for music. When there's no band playing, local performers such as Norman Nardini, the Have Nots, The Cheats and Blues Attack are featured on the well-stocked jukebox. The interior wall space--crammed with photos and knickknacks--can be an entertainment in itself. Excuses regulars are featured on a photo wall, and several good-natured souls are highlighted as "Drunks of the Month." The bartender assures us, however, it doesn't necessarily mean they're heavy drinkers.
