Omni William Penn Hotel   

This place has old wolrd charm and one gets the sense of going back in time when staying here. My husband and I shared a "Romance Package" on our anniversary last year and liked it so much, we are doing it again this year to celebrate. I have been in a lot of hotels in my life, and given the choice, would take a hotel with character and ambience over the bare minimum amenities you get at most establishments. As far as cleanliness goes, my room was spotless. The staff is indeed, very gracious, and although this place is pricey, for special occasions, it is worth the extra dough. (In fact the Romance Pkg was very reasonable for all you got--dinner, breakfast, a rose, chocolates, turn down service, champagne, romance cards, late check out and a suite, all for about 200 dollars.) The food was good too, the location great. We went to a jazz club in downtown P-burgh just aorund the corner. I really have no complaints!!
