Are you ready for a Monday Night Football party? At Buffalo Blues, pitcher and refill specials, prizes, a wall of five TVs, and Miller Lite girls (hey, the Miller folks thought that one up) keep the place hopping. If you're more interested, in competing yourself, there are pinball machines, video games and dartboards in the back bar. Expect to find Pitt and Carnegie Mellon students noshing on wings (of course!) with flavors like the signature sauce (a little sweet, a little hot) and hotter flavors such as red-hot parmesan and "howlin' wolf." The baby back ribs are another popular choice. There's a Cajun flavor to the menu, with fare such as jambalaya and charcoal-grilled catfish. Looking for something milder? Check out the Atlantic salmon fillet, slow-cooked beef-brisket sandwiches or a grilled chicken burrito. And when the place gets busy, go upstairs to get a good view of the action below.

Found Chewing Gum in Coleslaw!
By robohead44 on 05/15/2007
We have went to Buffalo Blues several times throughout the past year. Usually their food was good. Especially their all-you-can-eat wings were great and service was fairly quick and responsive. However, it seems all good things have to come to and end...the last time (May 2007) we ordered food from Buffalo Blues for pickup we found a big bright blue CHEWED piece of chewing gum burried in our cole-slaw. Yes I know it could have been a single disgruntled cook who threw his old gum in our food and hopefully it is a single occurence. Nevertheless it was disgusting and I don't want to think about what else might have been in the food I ate there. I am definitely not taking my chances. Immediatly after the incident we called up the manager, but all we got was a short "oh ok...hang-up.", no big apologies or any offer for reimbursement or anything. Maybe they are used to those things... Maybe it's the Pittsburgh way of doing business. It's sad I won't be going there again.
