No grub-and-pub establishment is closer to Heinz Field than Clark Bar & Grill, but that's not the only reason folks love it. This is the sort of place where businesspeople do lunch the way lunch was meant to be done: with ties thrown over shoulders and steaming platters of specialty ribs. Other attractions on the menu include the half-pound Boomer Burger, a sandwich of seasoned Icelandic cod fillet, and a grilled-chicken sandwich topped with cheese. Happy hour (weekdays from 5 to 7PM) draws an eclectic crowd comprising college coeds, yuppies, hipsters and sports fans. Clark Bar & Grill keeps about seven brews on tap; a wide selection of domestic and imported bottles is available, as well, along with house wines. A jukebox, a baseball display and more than a dozen TVs add to the casual ambience.
