With more than 30 locations across the United States and overseas, Dave & Buster's has finally hit the Homestead Waterfront. And, believe me, it's a BIG hit -- approximately 60,000 square feet of fun and great food include two bars (one in the very classy dining area, the other in the neon classy arcade area); more than 200 traditional-to-high-tech interactive games, including virtual reality and laser shootout; pocket billiards; shuffleboard; the World's Newest & Best Indoor 19th Hole Golf Simulator (Tee Time reservations are recommended, you can bring your own clubs, and the computer keeps your score in accordance with international rules.); "Mystery Dinner Theatre" on Saturday nights; and a theme-park-type shuttle to and from the entrance (even if you're parked only a feet away.) Is this Chuck E. Cheese Goes To Las Vegas? Yes, because you can win some cool prizes. No, because guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (including during restroom visits), and you can't put a $5 bill into a machine and get a day's worth of tokens. Dave & Buster's has its own monetary system. (These guys are no strangers to big business psychology!) You can get three chips for a dollar (a nuisance) or pay a $1, one-time fee for a "Power Card." Power Card = debit card and, like debit cards, one can have a helluva good time using it until the bill arrives. Not that Dave & Buster's isn't worth it. It's just a forewarning (especially after having a few drinks!) Bottom line? You work hard. You deserve to play today. And, for that, Dave & Buster's is priceless. -- Jolie Kenney

Dave & Buster -Pittsburgh
By STRENGTHMGR on 05/12/2008
I was recently at a Dave & Busters on Mother's Day, and It was a horrible experience. First of all I didn't mind waiting to get seated . But what , I had a problem with was the level of service that was given to our table. The waiters name was Naaman and he was not very accomadating to our table. After a 25 minute wait for food it arrived at our table ice cold. The level of service was very poor and it was not that crowded that we got the service we got. I ask to speak to the manager and was told he was to busy. Wait a minute I am the customer and I thought we got first preference!!!!!!!!! in any event we waited and additional 20 minutes and at that point I got everyone together and I left. The one thing that pissed me off was how they ignored us. I hope they don't treat all there customers like this in the restaurant. Maybe we should have gone in the midway ? In any event i would give the restaurant a half star. thanks Joyce Knight

Great Place for 1st Dates!
By angelleguyette on 02/02/2006
Our evening would have been really awkward because I have been out of circulation a while. Having all those games made me feel like a kid again, and that helped a lot! Anyplace can boast a great meal, but besides having a phenominal menue, Dave & Busters has proven it can save an evening! With so many activities to break the ice, you can always have a great time.

Excellent Food
By akapacr on 01/13/2005
We had such a good time and the food was wonderful. The prices could be a bit lower, It is hard for a family of 5 to go out to dinner and not spend less than 140.00

There was this really cute kid, named Mike, working at the prize counter on Sunday and he came over and was talking to us and flirting with us, that's why I like Dave and Buster's soo much!!!
