Looking for the ultimate way to show off for a date? Book a reservation for Eleven's chef's table, where dinner is served, for $85 per person, by the maestro himself. For $65, you can enjoy the same five-course meal without the personal service -- snagging a table in one of the restaurant's few cozy nooks is nearly as impressive. Regular entrees, which start at $18, include gnocchi made with roasted black mushrooms, fava beans, roasted tomatoes and stuffed Bear Flag Dry Jack cheese. Another favorite is the Elysian Fields farm lamb with buttermilk polenta and green beans. The menu changes daily. Though smoking is not allowed, the lounge draws a young crowd with appetizers such as pulled-pork biscuit and shrimp cocktail, as well as about 140 wines (including 16 on tap in a cruvinet, which helps them stay flavorful longer). Staff friendly and helpful, menu varied and exciting, food was absolutely outstanding, service was excellent, great ambience. Pricey, but worth every penny!!! Can't wait to return and try different menu items. Finally, a truly unique, genuinely superb destination to bring you into the city!!!

The food was o.k. The menu not to my desire for seafood. Vegetarians like it since it does have more choices than most restaurants.The atmosphere was private but not intimate in a positive way. I felt like we were upstairs in someone's corner with no artwork or window. We had a great waitstaff, but the table was isolated and had no view of anything but walls. I was most disappointed.

SERVICE WAS PRETENTIOUS , EVEN AFTER WE WERE 70 MINUTES WAITING FOR OUR RESERVATION. CAKE WE ORDERED FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION WAS ACTUALLY TERRIBLE. NOT EXPECTED WITH THE CRAZY PRICE IT COSTS. TO TOP IT OFF WHEN WE CHECKED OUR BAR BILL THE NEXT DAY WE WERE CHARGED FOR MANY MORE DRINKS THAN WE ACTUALLY DRANK. NEVER AGAIN. THERE ARE FAR TOO MANY CHOICES OF GREAT FOOD TO BE CHEATED AND GO HOME HUNGRY TO BOOT!!!!
