Elliott's has an old-fashioned style, from the placards advertising Coca-Cola for a nickel (expect to pay a little more these days) to the signs leading to the restrooms. Just as old-fashioned is the homemade barbecue sauce, which you'll find slathered on ribs, on sandwiches of shredded beef and pulled pork, and in bottles to take home. Other popular menu items include the reuben, stacked high with sauerkraut and topped with homemade dressing; a choice of two or three homemade fruit pies every day; and the specials on the blackboard. On Sundays, expect a crowd for the lamb feast, which starts at 4PM. The restaurant also serves Delmonico and porterhouse steaks.
