Fiori's Pizzaria   

At Fiori's, you won't find delivery service, beer or fancy trappings, so what makes this place so special? The pizza does -- and savvy Pittsburghers know it. This unassuming little spot, just up the hill on Capital Avenue, offers a prime "what you see is what you get" dining experience. Its small interior has a few booths, with tables and video games scattered throughout. Your mind won't be on the ambience, though; you'll be too busy digging in. Fiori's offers traditional and white pizza, in pies and slices, to which you can pile on toppings at a minimal cost. Hoagies are a big draw here, too -- the selection includes pizza steak, meatball and hot sausage. If that doesn't strike your fancy, try calzones, pasta, wings, salads and provolone sticks. You can even purchase Fiori's spaghetti sauce by the quart. This late-night hangout brings in folks from the pub next door and nearby bars in Dormont, but plenty of families and neighborhood regulars elbow in, as well. After all, who doesn't appreciate a quality slice?
