If you want a good, moderately priced Italian dining experience on the South Side (with a few Greek dishes thrown in as well), Folino's has plenty of pasta. It also has plenty of dining experiences -- it's a two-in-one package. At Folino's Ristorante, tables for couples, soft lighting and Sinatra tunes evoke romantic old Tuscany, the perfect backdrop as you enjoy fish pizzaiola (baked with sauteed onions, roasted peppers, marinara sauce and Asiago cheese). You can also go upstairs to the red-walled lounge to plump down on a couch with a martini and munch loaded fries, or make a light meal for two out of a sampler that includes lasagna, gnocchi, ravioli and eggplant parmesan. Regulars often visit the vintage Folino's Young's Tavern to grab a burger with marinara sauce, provolone, mushrooms and onions in the original wooden booths. Weekends bring Tuscan eggs Benedict and other brunch favorites. Talk about choices.
