Station Square maintains the look of the train station it once was, but inside you'll find a spot that hints of olden days from afar. Kiku preserves the style of a Japanese tea room, with paper windows and lanterns in the Edo tradition (along with a modern sushi station and satellite TV in the bar). Right inside the door is a quiet nook perfect for a romantic meal. Along with sushi and sashimi, you can try entrees such as white fish tsutsumiyaki (with a rice wrap to hold in the natural flavors) and veal maki (smothered in shiitake mushrooms and onions). Dining with a date or a group of friends? The fondue-style Shabu Shabu (sliced strip steak, noodles, tofu and vegetables served with a pot of boiling stock for dipping) and the tetsujin chef's plate (swordfish teriyaki with a variety of sides) are great for sharing. All-you-can-eat specials on the first and third Tuesdays of every month let you sample the offerings for a bargain.
