P.F. Chang's first opened its doors in Scottsdale, Ariz., as a way to offer elegance, innovation and authenticity to locals. These qualities generally don't translate well to chain restaurants, but P.F. Chang's has flourished despite the odds. Here, you can enjoy fiery stir-fried spicy chicken, a new take on General Tso's, as well as VIP Cantonese chicken, which mimics Peking duck. Honey shrimp are battered and crispy, and stir-fried Cantonese scallops are seasoned with garlic and yellow chives. Mongolian beef is flash-cooked with scallions and garlic. A full range of wines complements the entrees. Still have room? Polish off your meal with the aptly named Great Wall of Chocolate. P.F. Chang's is no slouch in the decor department, either. The setting is warm and inviting, accented by pieces inspired by the Ming and Tang dynasties. Handpainted murals and low lighting complete the mood. No wonder this place commands such a wait.

I found the cat dishes yummy . I didn't realize cat was such a versatile meat and could go as chicken , beef, pork and even fish. If creativity were king, these guys are the crowned royalty of feline dishes!

This is a Chinese Restaurant?
By akajude on 05/28/2006
This is a Yuppy place. Not authentic at all.. What kind of Chinese or Oriental restaurant is this that can't even cook rice! When we went here, the rice was hard... we told the server and she sent over the manager who told us that they steamed the rice in a rice cooker.... I guess the rice cooker was broken. I ordered a dish with noodles and the noodles on my plate was dried out like it had been sitting for a while... I WILL NOT go back here.... ever!!

Enjoyed it alot!

We have eaten here twice and I really liked it. For starters, the plum wine is delicious. The service excellent, servers are very knowledgable. Ordered a chicken dish that normallyis served qute spicey, but the server informed me that I could order it milder. When it came it was still too spicey for me, but I would have dealt with it because it was till good. But the server sent over the manager who had another dish made "to go" without spice so I could enjoy it another time. That was going above & beyond the call of duty. At least beyond the service you usually get these days.
