In the Chiodo Plaza on busy Route 60, there's a quiet, elegant place where you can take a break to sip tea. Each antique table is unique, as is the old stove in the corner. It's just decoration now, but it once was functional, and that "Good Luck" painted on the oven door is part of the enamel, so you know it was there to begin with. Sisters' SpecialTeas showcases lots of knickknacks, including vintage radios and clocks and comfy chairs near the window, as well as games to play and magazines to read if you want to hang out. Ah, then there's the tea. The 30-odd choices on the menu are only a starter, since they're adding brands like Republic of Tea all the time, and you can buy tea and accessories for your daily brew at home. Food offerings comprise tea-time pastries, of course, but you can also buy a quiche, panini sandwiches (try the signature panini with marinated artichokes, spinach and feta cheese) and salads, such as a roast-chicken salad that's a meal in itself. "Tea time" never sounded so good.

Pittsburgh best kept secret for organic foods and teas. Everything is homemade and so yummy. Feels like grandmas kitchen.

This place is great for lunch. The people are really nice and it's ideal for people that can take an hour lunch from work. I love the food - especially the chicken salad. I highly reccommend this tea shop!!
