Conveniently located between downtown and the Strip District, Sushi Kim offers both traditional and edgy selections for the most adventurous to the tamest of palates. The menu features about 40 Japanese and Korean specialties and boasts enough rolls, sushi and sashimi to get those taste buds tingling. Try the baby octopus or the No Name Roll (smoked salmon, lobster, snow crab and shrimp), or you can go a la carte with fresh nigiri sushi. Seating is quite ample here -- on the ground floor, at a sushi bar that almost runs the whole length of the restaurant, or at an upstairs area that overlooks the place. Despite the abundance of Steelers memorabilia on the walls, you may at first think you've been transported to a tranquil, far-away land -- there's a lovely palm-tree mural, as well as a pond where koi swim lazily under a trickling fountain. But take heed: There's enough kitsch at Kim to make you feel right at home.
