Sushi addicts know where to go if they want the freshest, most authentic dishes around. Conveniently located between downtown and the Strip District, Sushi Kim offers both traditional and edgy selections for the most adventurous to the tamest of palates. The menu features about 40 Japanese and Korean specialties and boasts enough rolls, sushi and sashimi to get those taste buds tingling. Try the baby octopus or the No Name Roll (smoked salmon, lobster, snow crab and shrimp), or you can go a la carte with fresh nigiri sushi. Seating is quite ample here -- on the ground floor, at a sushi bar that almost runs the whole length of the restaurant, or at an upstairs area that overlooks the place. Despite the abundance of Steelers memorabilia on the walls, you may at first think you've been transported to a tranquil, far-away land -- there's a lovely palm-tree mural, as well as a pond where koi swim lazily under a trickling fountain. But take heed: There's enough kitsch at Kim to make you feel right at home.

bad service and bad food
By suchuanw on 03/17/2007
The service has never been good in this restaurant. The quality of food cannot compare with other similar restaurants ( it cannot even compare with the quality from previous years).

Worst service ever.
By valsocks on 01/03/2007
I have never felt so unwelcome in an establishment. My waitress was incredibly rude, unaccomidating and rushed me through my meal. She ran the vacuum under my table while I was still working on my appetizer! As a former waitress myself, I am very forgiving of the mishaps that can be part of the dining experience, however this surpasses anything I ever saw. I left here without the chance to enjoy my food and angry. I will NEVER patronize this establishment again.

Korean B.B.Q Second Floor
By ng608 on 05/23/2006
I love the Korean Specialty B.B.Q "buffet" at the second floor. I can be my own chef to cook a variety of raw meats, seafood, and vegetables. The atmosphere is so relaxed. I and my friends really enjoy our dinner there. And, if you like the Atkins' diet, I really recommend you to try it at the second floor.
