Vault Coffee & Tea Bar   

The Coffee is horrible, and the staff has no clue beyond "vanilla" and "pumpkin spice". If you like bad coffee and Kenny G then this place is for you.

I liked coming in to this place before the reno, but since they changed management and decor, I spend much more time hanging out here. Very welcoming and inclusive. The coffee has always been smoother, less acidic than other coffee house blends. Their menu has expanded greatly. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they now have live music on Thursday nights, and I was able to catch a performance by Joe Grushecky on one of those Thursdays!

Very Quality Coffee and still affordable, They should call Starbucks 4 bucks. ;) Though you can get a good cup of coffee from the Vault for under 3 bucks. Staff is pretty kewl, they have a semi-Emo combined style store with some other neuer qualities. Welcoming for twenty-something audience The bean, is of good quality. Each individual brewer creates their own blend. Not much of the inherent caramel flavour you might find and some shops and more of a bite too. They've recently closed for renovations I hope they reopen... a Serious Delight, and if you're anywhere in Pittsburgh stop in! Very nice to have coffee in their joint... Cheers! Kel

I can only recommend cofffee lovers the best places for coffee in Pittsburgh. The Vault offers a wide variety of coffee from all over the world. Cafe canela is my favorite. Great place to hang out, meet friends and knit! or if you prefer to be alone working on your computer, you can do that too, internet access is free! Great place, great coffee, great ambiance.
