Original Oyster House   

I am from Akron, Ohio and go to Pittsburgh almost one weekend every 2 months for a change of pace. The Orignal Oyster House is my favorite Sat. hang out. I love to sit at the seafood bar and and have a few drinks while i waite for my oysters, shrimp, crab legs and pizza. I have had alot of menu items and everything is always great , I have never been let down!!! It's the first place I go when I get to Pittsburgh.

This is the best place to eat at i could eat there for days. i love the fish sandwich, crab cakes and the wedding soup. i went to visit some relatives and they took me there and it was so... good. the service is also great!

Simply the best anywhere for over 50 years!!!!!

The Original Oyster House strives to acheive its best at everything it does. From giving good service to making the best food there is possible. I should know. I am the daughter of Louis Grippo, owner of the Original Oyster House. Excellence is key. And so what if the onion rings are "soggy sometimes" it's still good, right? of course. My dad is always getting mad because he wants us to be the best. He wants everyone to enjoy good food.
