Older scenesters remember back when this under-the-bridge hotspot was that '80s bandbox, Key Largo. Today, as Ohm, bands share the bill with dance-heavy DJ nights, and it is still a magnet for the young, the hip and the rave-happy. The doormen may guard the doors a little too grandly out front, but once inside, patrons can avail themselves of good pours at the two bars and a feverish night of dancing to hip hop, rock and techno beats. Update: Next door neighbor, Voodoo Lounge, which recently acquired Ohm, plans to close it down for remodeling in early February (right after Mardi Gras), reopening it as an entirely new venue later in the spring.
