Like a number of Portland's downtown hotels, Four Points had a facelift a few years ago and a name change to boot -- it was known for decades as the Riverside Hotel. The extensive improvements means the hotel can better compete for business and vacation travelers. It offers room service, in-room computer data ports, meeting rooms, complimentary newspaper and a full-service eatery that held on to the old name: Riverside Restaurant.
