In ShortThis cozy spot on Hawthorne is made welcoming with crimson walls, exposed beams and antique photos on the wall. The efficient staff guides you through the seasonal menu and daily specials, such as butternut squash tortellini with fried pumpkin. An eclectic mix of informal food like homemade pizzas and panini are combined with more upscale fare like gnocchi with porcini cream sauce and seared duck breast on an herbed risotto cake with rhubarb compote.

Favorite Restaurant
By far this is the most exceptional restaurant that I have visited in Portland in many years. I have traveled all over the world including Italy and I would rate Iorio at the top. The atmosphere and the staff were excellent. The food was superb. My wife and I always reccomend Iorio to all of our out of town guests. We will continue to visit for years to come.
Excellent food and value
Menu is creative and fresh, and the food is very good. Prices are moderate and service is good too. I recommend it!
