In ShortOld-growth fir rafters, concrete columns, floor-to-ceiling factory windows, halogen fixtures, paintings by Northwest artists and muted beats of background techno music keep in line with the atmosphere of a Pearl District eatery. The menu also is a work or art. A minimalist wedge of Gorgonzola cheesecake shimmers atop orange tomato coulis in sweet basil aoli; chicken breast stuffed with a mushroom mélange, roasted asparagus and polenta. Other entrees include braised pot roast and halibut.

GREAT ATMOSPHERE
This place has the best atmosphere in town. I always feel so cozy and welcome when I dine here. The waiters are always friendly and helpful. Try the stuffed mushroom chicken. It's SOOOO good.
