Who said you can't go wrong with a room on the waterfront? No matter -- the Riverplace Hotel proves the point. Plush, clean and comfortable, the Riverplace provides the Rose City's only accommodations at the Marina. Because The Willamette River is no backwater stream, a room with a view makes for a bustling, romantic backdrop. But you have to remember to ask for one. Complimentary breakfast and a copy of The New York Times arrives in the morning, and when the weather is nice you should take advantage of the patio dining this hotel offers.
