This warm and inviting family restaurant builds a fabulous pizza that will stuff you to the gills and leave you with enough pie left over to take home for breakfast the next morning. Even the thin crust is thick and chewy. Their small pizza is massive, easily feeding four people for reasonable price. The topping selections include all the usual options, but the Italian sausage and pepperoni are unforgettable: a perfect balance of crust, sauce, meat and cheese. DeNicola's does custom pizzas as well, and goes out of its way to accommodate vegetarians; a favorite combo is the Hawaiian without the ham -- pineapple and onion. They also feature excellent antipasto, spaghetti and meatballs, eggplant parmigiana and lasagna. Traditional and classic entrees include linguine, rigatoni, gnocchi, fettucine and an array of chicken dishes. A children's menu with soups, salads and pizza is available and adds to the child-friendly factor. -- Jo Ostgarden

Their spaghetti sauce is one of the few in town that has favor. Not just tomato sauce. Garlic bread is loaded. All at low prices.

Good Food, Family Friendly
By shannonb2 on 04/30/2006
De Nicola's is one of those old, neighborhood Itlaian restaurants that has really good basic Italian food, great prices and just the right atmosphere. The Tortellini we had was al dente, sauce was tasty, and the wine selection was quite good. OK, this is not gourmet Italian, but who cares! It was tasty, fun and very comfortable. The staff, waitstaff and setting was also very family friendly. We dined with a 2 1/2 year old and 4 month old without any difficulty. It was a pleasure with the assistance that the staff were ready to give. We'll be back many times.

Horrible Service- fair food
By rea3333 on 02/15/2006
My girlfriends thought this would be a good place for a baby shower- (I did too) Boy were we wrong. The waitress was RUDE. In fact if my gratuity wasn't included in my bill, I would have probably not tipped her (very unusual for me). The food was decent, but if you could go somewhere else and get better service, I would suggest doing just that.
