Located on the north end of 21st Avenue, what's already a more laidback avenue of shopping than the 23rd Avenue / Nob Hill area, Joe's Cellar is a classic neighborhood hangout. Think good sandwiches, lunch specials and beer while you hand your date or drinking buddy a roll of quarters to work the jukebox. The staff is friendly with customers -- a mix of oldtimers, slackers and working folk from the area. When you've had enough of the chi-chi wood oven pizza combinations and small portion food servings down the street, stop in a the cellar for chili or Sunday Chicken and Dumplings. -- Joe Kurmaskie

Joe's the place to go
It's a nice place off the beaten path of N.W. 21st. Food is great atmosphere is friendly while maintaining respectable behavior. Pool,jukebox and food what more could you want Oregon Lotto? they have that too.
