Sinju Restaurant   

Located in the Pearl District on the fringe of Jamison Square, Sin Ju is a beautiful sushi restuarant replete with tatami rooms, etched glass art, soothing water fountains and ornate twisted bamboo. Four sushi chefs work behind the long sushi bar slicing and rolling such delicacies as geoduck, sea urchin and quail egg. All of the usual fresh catch is available as well along with plenty of innovative house rolls and cooked entrees. Servers glide around the room in green quasi-kimonos while diners indulge in soft shell crab in a creamy brandy sauce, deep fried sea bass, and Jamison rolls eel, mango and macadamia nuts. Tableside preparations include Shabu-Shabu thinly sliced rib eye served with vegetables and noodles in a Ponzu and sesame sauce. Reserve the three tatami rooms, which can be combined to accommodate up to 32 people, for special occasions.
