What this places lacks in atmosphere it more than makes up for in delicious and authentic Mexican food. A scattering of bare-bones cafe tables exist mainly for people waiting to pick up their takeout orders. Two people can stuff themselves here for less than $8. Everything is good: the tacos, tostadas, burritos and tamales (yes, they even have green corn as well as chicken tamales). The refried beans are some of the best you'll taste in town. The chicken fajita burrito alone is also worth the drive. Super Burrito Express has a good selection of more traditional items like torta lengua (tongue sandwich). The fountain drink selections include Horchata and Pina Colada (minus the booze). Whether you're pedaling through after a bike ride to Kelly Point Park or driving through on your way back from Sauvie Island, the SBE detour is definitely worth the effort. -- Jo Ostgarden

I eat at the Milwaukie location at least once a week. It has recently been torn down and rebuilt. Much nicer! The best authentic mexican food around. It's incredible. Must try!! Just got back from Cabo and Super Burrito is better than anything we found there. The amount of food you receive for the price is uncomparable.

Neither of the two locations I have been to are asthetically pleasing, They must be passing the savings on to us because theres not a better restaurant that serves this kind of quality mexican food at any price. Gigantic burritoes and soda for under 5 bucks. I went to PDX's Cinqo De Mayo festival only hoping supper burrito would be there. Also, Milwaukie store drive-thru is open til 1am. So no more taco bell!
