You'll understand quickly why most of the diners are Asian: This seafood emporium pays tribute to Cantonese cooking in a way you'll be hard pressed to find elsewhere in Portland. Although the dining experience is far from intimate -- the elegant dining room feels more like a banquet room with its crystal chandeliers and 200-plus seats -- the food more than makes up for it. It's easy to lose time on the menu (20 pages), so take a clue from the page offering the chef's recommendations or choose from the extensive seafood offerings. But even if you eventually decide on familiar dishes, you're sure to walk out feeling satiated. If you'd rather fill up during the day, order some of the best dim sum in town.
